You must be wondering about the relationship of the 3 terms in the above mentioned title. Well it’s quite simple. As you might have already felt the heat due to the ongoing recession and about the various world leaders talking things through on ways to resolve the Economic turbulence on the news channels. But whatever the strategy plan they are coming up with many people don’t seem to be convinced at all.
And to heat the things up there is this insane research that was conducted by Larry Summers (see picture) – the top economic advisor in the Obama’s cabinet, which declares that the search volume for the term “Economic Depression” has reduced alot when compared to the last 6 months on Google.com. It is believed that the Obama team are convinced by the report that the Economic downfall is recovering in US.
I just can’t believe the approach of these people in researching the way things are affecting the country. Google is awesome as long as you are in front of the computer and searching for whatever you wish for. But the US government are considering the data provided by Google and believe that the decrease in the search query for the term “Economic Depression” actually reflects the improvement in the economy. It’s like me searching on Google about my financial status, since I am not insane I would rather get a report of all my wealth stored in my bank and compare my savings and expenditure like other normal people do. Google trends is basically for webmasters to see the surge in certain in-trend topics and not for the government to come up with crazy conspiracies about a countries economy.
Enough said “God bless the American people“.
