Mobile Phones Banned in CBSE Schools

Librarian completely disregarding his own &quo...

Much to the surprise of all the lame school students and a delight to their parents mobile phones are now completely banned in CBSE schools. I am pretty sure this ban would be neglected by everyone. But the good thing is the teachers, staff and all the other people are included in the list of people who are not supposed to use mobile phones in the campus.

Now that I am all out of the formal education and stuff I remember the mobile-free days of my life. It was such a pleasure and nuisance free. Mobiles have been misused in every possible way one could think of. Atleast the school going kids be mobile-free.

George Sodini’s Blog Posts

one comment

George Sodini's PictureGeorge Sodini, the computer programmer who killed 3 women and injured several in the LA Gym Shootings had planned everything for over 6 months now. He had a personal blog where he updated his ideas on how to commit the crime.

Here are some post excerpts from his blog:

From May 18, 2009:

Women just don’t like me. There are 30 million desirable women in the US (my estimate) and I cannot find one.

From July 20, 2009:

I have slept alone for over 20 years. Last time I slept all night with a girlfriend it was 1982. Proof I am a total malfunction. Girls and women don’t even give me a second look ANYWHERE. There is something BLATANTLY wrong with me that NO goddam person will tell me what it is.

From July 23, 2009:

I just looked out my front window and saw a beautiful college-age girl leave Bob Fox’s house, across the street. I guess he got a good lay today. College girls are hoez. I masturbate. Frequently. He is about 45 years old. She was a long haired, hot little hottie with a beautiful bod. I masturbate. Frequently.

From August 3, 2009:

I took off today, Monday, and tomorrow to practice my routine and make sure it is well polished. I need to work out every detail, there is only one shot. Also I need to be completely immersed into something before I can be successful. I haven’t had a drink since Friday at about 2:30. Total effort needed. Tomorrow is the big day.

Rahul Mahajan Ka Swayamwar ??

Rahul mahajan ka swayamwarSOL Productions Pvt Ltd is said to be handling the part 2 of the swayamwar series and this time it’s the bride they are after and it’s for Rahul Mahajan. Wonder what if it would be called “Rahul Ka Swayamwar” lol crazy it may sound but it’s quite possible.

Rahul Mahajan whom you may know as the son of the late politician Pramod Mahajan. Rahul was also in the news after his ex-wife filed for a divorce after a supposed domestic violence.

Anyways the Sameer Nair the CEO of the channel which aired “Rakhi ka Swayamwar” has said this news as a mere speculation and he can’t confirm it.

If this rumor ain’t true why not deny it if it isn’t a possibility ??

Elesh Parujanwala weds Rakhi Sawant’s

leave a comment

“Rakhi Ka Swayamvar” came to an end when the Canadian businessman Elesh Parujanwala was chosen as the life partner for the controversial bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant.
Rakhi Ka Swayamvar
I never even watched a single promo or an episode of the show cos it gives me jitters down the spine. Not in a happy way but kinda awkward and kinda embarrassed. Mainly because I don’t like Rakhi. Nor her lewd behavior. But as I do know there is a cult following of her in this country that I decided to post it anyways.

This is not what people should consider as a reality show at all. It was all fixed. You can find the details here : Rakhi Ka Swayamwar

On the other hand the show was innovative, well publicized and frankly speaking people liked it. That’s show business for you guys ;)

After  Emraan Hashmi was denied to purchase a flat since he is a Muslim the bollywood industry has a mixed response to the stray incident. And who else better than the King Khan has to say few things about it.

The celebrated actor Shahrukh Khan who is a muslim as well has said that never in the last 44 years of his life he has felt discriminated. And neither should Emraan should according to him. Though Mahesh Bhatt and Hashmi campaigned about this incident considering it as inequality. Shahrukh says this should not be given importance as it’s one of a case. And not to cause disruption in the communal front.

Emraah as well should get over it and think about the stardom he has received so far from a mixed variety of people out in this wonderful country.

Online Security Enhanced – Indian Card Holders

one comment

RBI Online SecurityRBI is coming hard on debt and credit card holders for good this time around. It just simply means increased security and aim to reduce the online crime related to banking. Apart from the card number, cvv, expiry of card and ofcourse your name from August you would be entering one extra detail. And it would just be a security code. So it’s almost like a debt card atm pin.

Whatever it is I am glad RBI is concerned about online fraud and scams. It’s high time before scammers take over the Indian web world. Consider the following details as a gift of some sort but RBI is urging all the banks to make it mandatory if an online transaction is more than 5000 rupees to send out an alert (email, sms..)

I am really happy about all these recent developments. That’s what I expect from a government organization like RBI. Keep em comin.

More than 50% Doctors Use Wikipedia For Reference

leave a comment

That's _Doctor_ Superman to you.

I just read this article from theinquirer.net. And I was taken back by it for sure. According to a research conducted by Pew Research Center more than 50% of the US doctors use Wikipedia or Wackypedia (as the author of that article likes to call) for medical reference.

And the medical community agrees that there are no major errors (factual) in the Wikipedia articles. Although the Medscape Reference answers 82% of the medical related queries docs still use Wikipedia.

This is just one more reason why I pray: “God Bless America”
