Salman Khan is said to have been in talks with IPL chief Lalit modi. It’s because he wants to buy an IPL team. In the coming season 2 new teams have been added Nagpur and Cochin namely. Salman has learnt the bidding process and other important details before he plunges into the messy world of IPL.

It isn’t obvious that Salman is at it once again. He is like the crazy start of the bollywood and we can expect anything from him. I am glad he has decided go head on with the King Khan. Let’s see who wins this battle. Ofcourse SRK’s team was out of the tournament with a pathetic performance. He would only wish to see if it’s going to be any better.

With a 20 million dollars deal Myspace has acquired the song sharing website iLike.com. This is an effort of Myspace’s comeback to the dominance in the social networking niche. I am really not hoping to see any major developments in this regards. Facebook and Twitter have taken over the world with their versatile features which appeals not only to the US web surfers but the whole wide world. It is said that Ilike.com receives more than 80% of the traffic from Facebook.

It’s time to come out of the US hangover because the world is changing like it has always been. It’s not about a specific group that corporates should focus but a wide variety of people with different choices.

Yahoo lost out to Google in the search engine market but it’s still the king when it comes to Yahoo mail ! There is a lesson to be learnt in here. Never venture out without any expertise or you will face a crushing defeat.

Infosys is bidding for about 10 Indian Government projects. You might feel this as a surprise move by the tech giant. But it is believed that Infosys wants to come out of the strong hold of the US market. Since recession US is completely out of list for many of the organizations in terms of new business deals. This is not a reliability factor but more of a dependency factor I believe.

It’s not new that the US market has faltered like this but I feel the heat has touched many this time. For many software engineers this would deal could be a huge boon. As many of the new pass outs are still at home with no work but an ever promising offer letter from an IT firm. It’s not funny but I can’t stop laughing at few people.

In any case Infosys is making a smart move and am glad this can turn out to be a huge job creating opportunity. But surely this wouldn’t be like those good ol’ times where the geeky engineers were offered mammoth salary. For a country like India self dependency is a must. We are the next super power or at least this is what many critics have to say about the future. So start off with improving our own country you tech giants.

If you thought Google Earth was the best it’s probably true. But do you know that ISRO has launched a similar satellite mapping tool called the ‘Bhuvan’ which means Earth in Sanskrit.

The best advantage is that the software focuses more on the Indian region. Which Google Earth has partially neglected. So give it a try and see for yourself how this nice piece of software works.

Bollywood Superstar ShahRukh Khan was detained in an International airport while he was in US. It is said his name popped up in the alert list. He was questioned for well over 2 hours because immigration officials thought he was a suspect.

I am not very sure if it was something to do with his next upcoming film “My Name Is Khan” , for the fact that the plot of the story is similar to that of this incident. Inspite of him telling that he is a movie start he was detained for questioning. SRK has said that this is not the first time that something like this happened to him. He was there to promote his film ‘My Name Is Khan’.

I am not sure but this seems to be too much of a co-incidence. Whatever it is, the Indian government is on an uproar and is demanding an explanation about the whole episode.

I really don’t wanna get into this debate of how India was savaged by the brits and others. It’s all long gone. I am just happy that I am living in a country where expression of speech is accepted to a great extent. Not always but come on better than many other 3rd world countries !!

Well that’s the next movie King Khan is desperately waiting for the release. SRK is all thrilled about it and says that “My Name Is Khan” would be his best movie of all time. Atleast the sources where I have read this claim.

The story is about a Muslim (Rizwan Khan) living in US who is taken into custody for his absurd behavior (Asperger Syndrome – Problems with social interaction and stuff). He is charged for suspicion in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The movie also starts Kajol as a Hindu single mother and as you might have guessed by now both SRK and Kajol are in love yet again

The movie concludes with SRK in pursuit of meeting the US President Barrak Obama to prove his innocence. Well this is an Indian movie so anything can happen. The movie’s budget is a whopping 1 Billion Rupees. Fox has taken up the distribution.

Karan Johar must be all Gay & excited, cos he is working with SRK and Kajol once again. No pun intended (lol) though.
